I am Chase Floyd, a fee based financial advisor with a passion for helping families Chase their dreams of achieving financial independence. I believe the financial planning process is one of the best ways to create and maintain wealth, so I formed The Financial Chase to help as many people as possible work towards achieving their dreams and obtaining financial independence. The goal is to get you to retirement, through retirement, and then pass on wealth.  As a Financial advisor, I specialize in comprehensive financial plan development, tax strategy, and helping people make good financial decisions.

As a registered investment adviser, I am held to the fiduciary standard of care, legally and ethically required to act in your best interest when providing personalized financial advice. To avoid conflicts of interest and provide transparency, I do receive compensation from the sale of insurance products, typically from term life insurance policies. All financial recommendations are tailored to fit your personal objectives and values. 

I am grateful to have earned a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Tyler and completed the CFP certification program at Kaplan University.

 I moved to Phoenix, AZ in June 2017. It was 122 degrees outside, and they had shut the airport down because it was too hot. My first thought was why did I do this to myself!?

During my spare time, I enjoy going to sporting events, watching the Texas Longhorns, Houston Texans, and any Houston team play, traveling, playing board games, fishing (my greatest past time), and cooking. I love to BBQ and grill (There is a big difference in the two).
